Terms of Use
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms apply to the Part 107 Test app and this website, provided by the publisher of Part 107 Test ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. A study aid, not the FAA
Part 107 Test helps you prepare for the FAA Remote Pilot knowledge test. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration or any testing provider.
We work hard to keep questions and explanations accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that the content is complete or error-free, that it matches the questions on your test, or that you will pass. The app is not flight instruction, legal advice or a substitute for the regulations. Before you fly, always check the current rules in 14 CFR Part 107 and official FAA guidance. If you spot a mistake, please tell us with Report an issue in the app.
Practice certificates are not FAA certificates. The certificates the app creates when you pass a mock exam celebrate your practice results. They are not issued by or recognized by the FAA, they do not let you fly under Part 107, and they must not be presented as a pilot certificate. To become a certificated remote pilot, you must pass the official FAA knowledge test at an FAA-approved testing center, which charges a fee, and then apply for your certificate through the FAA.
2. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial study. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the app or its question bank, or use automated means to extract its content. The FAA figures in the app come from a U.S. Government publication; our questions, explanations, design and code are ours.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If these terms conflict with the store's terms about the store's role, the store's terms apply.
3. Purchases
The core of the app is free. The free trial gives you a set of practice questions, flashcards and the diagnostic at no cost, with no time limit and no card needed, and nothing is charged when you finish it. The Pass Pack is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full question bank and unlimited mock exams. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payment is handled by Apple or Google, and refunds are governed by their policies. You can restore a purchase on another device signed in to the same Apple or Google account with Restore purchases.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country. We may add, change or remove content over time; we will not take away content included in the Pass Pack that you have bought, except where required by law or to correct errors.
4. Accounts
An account is optional. You can sign in with a code sent to your email, with Sign in with Apple, or with Sign in with Google. Keep access to your email address and those accounts secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or its servers: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or get around security or purchase checks. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for test fees, lost time or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory local law.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the effective date and, for account holders, send notice by email before it takes effect. You can stop using the app at any time. We may stop offering the app, in which case the app and content already on your device keep working as they are.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
